Launch of Skydance International Augments Lionsgate’s Worldwide Distribution Pipeline with Roster of Premium Television Properties

SANTA MONICA, Calif., and VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF), a premier next generation global content leader, and Skydance, a diversified media company that creates event-level entertainment for global audiences, today announced that the two companies have formed a global television distribution pact. The launch of newly-created label Skydance International, which will feature Skydance Media’s current and emerging premium television properties around the world following their initial U.S. broadcast, augments Lionsgate’s worldwide distribution pipeline and permits the two companies to tap opportunities across the global television marketplace.  Lionsgate currently distributes nearly 2,000 hours of television programming annually around the world.

The Greenwich Concours d’Elegance announces the passing of chairman and co-founder, Bruce Wennerstrom

Greenwich, CT (October 2, 2015) – Bruce Wennerstrom, the co-founder and chairman of Greenwich Concours d’Elegance, passed away Wednesday morning, September 30, 2015.  Genia, his wife of 55 years and the concours co-founder, predeceased him in 2011. Bruce and Genia founded the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance in 1996, in Greenwich, CT, the town in which they had lived since 1976, and made it one of the premier events of its genre. They were also the owners and directors of the Madison Avenue Sports Car Driving and Chowder Society, a club of automobile enthusiasts established in 1957, that meets monthly at Sardi’s Restaurant in New York City.

The Wennerstrom family has been an integral part of the organization, management and execution of the Greenwich Concours since its creation twenty years ago, and both the Concours and the Madison Avenue Sports Car Driving and Chowder Society will continue to be operated by their children, NordLeif, Kirk, and Bria, as well as their daughters-in-law, Mary and April.

The family will announce plans for a memorial tribute in the near future.  In lieu of flowers, Bruce and Genia wished for donations to be made to AmeriCares, the charitable beneficiary of the Greenwich Concours.
