June 12, 2017 – Today, Bay Area rapper Adam Vida shares his video for “I’m Juiced,” an undeniable party anthem that’s amassed more than 3 million streams on Spotify. Originally released last October, the track is now set for re-release on Downtown/Interscope Records.

Directed by David Dutton (Bassnectar, Dev), and premiered today by Mass Appeal, “I’m Juiced” is the latest of Adam’s wildly original and viral-ready videos. The fantastically offbeat mini-movie opens in the back of a juice café, where a mysterious box filled with magical fruit becomes a portal to paradise.

Adam on the inspiration behind the video: “Me and Aaron (Mr. Carmack) had met up to help his mom restore their house after a flood, and came up with the video concepts while we were working together. We decided to go with Dutton because he’s a Bay Area dude just like us, he’s done projects for both of us in the past and he’s one of the most creative and resourceful directors I know.”

Adam created “I’m Juiced” with Mr. Carmack, a Team Supreme member and producer from the Bay. With recent collabs with BJ The Chicago Kid, Denzel Curry, Anderson Paak, Tennyson and more – he is gearing up to release a few more projects as well as a handful of festival performances such as Spring Awakening, EDC and Greatest Day Ever. Since its release on Adam’s own Thurl Records, “I’m Juiced” has racked up over 582k streams on SoundCloud. Acclaim for the track comes from sites like Earmilk, who hailed “I’m Juiced” as a “feel-good, upbeat, bass knockin’ cut.”

Formerly known as A-1, Adam Vida is a first-generation American whose roots run deepest in San Francisco. His acclaimed mixtape The Book of Adam arrived in 2011, followed by The Thurl Tape in 2012. Each release earned widespread critical praise, including recognition from Complex, Fact Magazine, Noisey, Stereogum, and The Fader.

In virtually all of his musical output, Adam matches his party-ready and high-energy hip-hop with passionate, positivity-minded lyrics. That dynamic inspired SF Weekly to describe Adam’s sensibility as “less about shining a light on the negative than it is about delivering messages of hope and resilience.” Also known for his unforgettable transmedia live show, Adam has shared the stage with hip-hop legends like Souls of Mischief, E-40, and Too $hort.
