Meet 30 National Finalists of the Broadcom MASTERS® Middle School STEM Competition in Silicon Valley



The 5th Broadcom MASTERS (Math, Applied Science, Technology and Engineering as Rising Stars), the nation’s leading middle school science competition, will be held at the Computer History Museum from October 1 -7 featuring a Project Showcase (open to the public), Alumni Reunion and rigorous competition where finalists compete for cash.

Discover who will win the grand prize of $25,000 and interview students’ projects featuring wireless wheelchair control, food safety, microwave efficiency, water conservation and cancer prevention.

The 30 Broadcom MASTERS finalists include 16 boys and 14 girls from 14 states. The Broadcom MASTERS is sponsored by Broadcom Foundation and is a program of Society for Science & the Public.
