PHOENIX, Sept. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The world famous Harlem Globetrotters announced today a three-year partnership with Ticket Galaxy, the sports and entertainment industry’s leading source for tickets on the secondary ticket market.

“As we embark on our 90th year of entertaining millions of fans around the world, the Globetrotters are thrilled to join forces with Ticket Galaxy,” said Globetrotters EVP of Live Event Marketing Mike Kenney. “Our 2015 tour marked a record-breaking year in ticket sales, and we are looking at this partnership to help us expand on that success.”

Ticket Galaxy will become the Globetrotters’ official secondary ticket partner and will receive in-game brand integration, online promotion and rights to use Harlem Globetrotters trademarks in promotional materials, among other opportunities.

“The Globetrotters are one of the world’s most beloved sports and entertainment franchises and give even more to the community off the court than they do on it. We’re extremely proud to partner with them and help fans everywhere experience the magic of their 90th anniversary tour,” said Steve Kobelski, President of Ticket Galaxy.

Throughout the Globetrotters’ 90th anniversary tour, Ticket Galaxy will upgrade some lucky fans to courtside seats – giving them a chance to experience the team’s spectacular basketball skills up close.

The Globetrotters will tip-off their world tour Dec. 26, electrifying fans in over 260 cities across North America. For more information about the Harlem Globetrotters’ 2016 world tour, visit harlemglobetrotters.com
